Why this table?
Some years ago Service Electric Cable TV published
their QAM channel numbers on their web site allowing those of us
without a cable box to see what was on each channel.
The QAM channel number chart disappeared a couple of years
ago causing me to develop this table for the Lehigh
Valley PA, not Wilkes-Barre PA or Hunterdon NJ (but they're
Around January of 2013 a link appeared near the top of
this page of the SECTV web site that leads to a pdf listing
of the QAM channel numbers. The chart has changed since
introduced but has never been easy to use and sometimes hasn't
included all the available free QAM channels.
You can print this page and keep the reference handy. And
you can sort this table by any column. Just click on the
column heading. Clicking again will reverse the sort order. You
can print the different sorted versions so each column appears
in order in the different versions.
Got an iPad you keep next to your TV chair? Just bookmark
this page and it'll be ready when you need it. Looking for the
FX channel? Just click on the Station Name column heading to
sort by those names, scroll down to the F's to find the channels
where you can see FX.
Notice that the same content usually appears on several
channels. For example, analog channel 6 (ABC in Philadelphia) is
also on channel 076- 6 in digital, standard definition form and
on channel 109- 3 in digital, high definition form.
My table is not all inclusive. I don't have any premium
channels so I don't have those listed. If you don't have a cable
box you can't get them either. Also, I'm not a
big sports fan so may have missed a few of those. You send 'em
and I'll add 'em.

something new contact

I'm curious to see if anyone else has a use for this chart.
12/27/14 - If you want to install the chart on your own
computer for your own use download the file
SectvChart.zip. Unzip it to a
folder you create and double click on the file
SectvChannelLineUp.htm. It should appear in your your browser.
You, of course, will be responsible for updating it which should
involve only the file SectvChannelLineUp.htm. You can do the
editing using Notepad or a similar basic text editor. Don't use
Word or any editor that will add formatting information. Make a
backup copy before you start if you're not sure what your doing.
10/22/14 - This is probably the last update for the chart.
Sectv is modifying their system to require some sort of cable
box to receive anything. The cheapest is about $2/month and you
need one per set. This change over is being implemented by
areas. Many parts of the system have already been converted.
Mine has not but will be soon. However, I'm moving soon and will
not be in the Sectv service area. This page will be taken down a
little while after I get settled in my new location.
7/23/14 - LV Weather is on 74-4 SD.
6/21/14 - Channel FXX had been added on 102-11, SD. There is
currently no HD or analog version. Thanks GN. The analog versions of Game Show Network, Ch 87 & Nat Geo, Ch
90 have been removed. These channels are now digital only. Sectv
says there is an HD version of Telemundo but it's not on their
channel lineup yet. I'll post the QAM channel number when I find
6/17/14 - The analog versions of CMT (81), AMC (83), & TCM
(84) have been removed. The digital channels are still
available. Thanks RF.
4/30/14 - Sectv now has a box at the top of the channel
listings that allows you to sort their list by channel, tier, or
This link will show the listing sorted by QAM.
There are 2 problems with this listing; it does not quite sort
correctly. Notice the sequence 67.1, 67.10, 67.2, etc. Channel
67.10 should come after 67.9. If you sort by Tier and scroll
down to High Definition Channels you will see many channels with
no QAM number. All (I think) of those with the far right column
blank do indeed have a QAM channel and can be seen on your TV
w/o a cable box. CNN for example is on 129-5.
4/15/14 - Channels 104-6 SD, Shalom TV and 68-11 SD, Tuff TV
have been added. Lehigh Valley Weather is no longer on 73-4 but
I don't know where it's gone. Thanks SC.
3/20/14 - The Lifetime Movie Network is no longer on analog
channel 85. Thanks RF.
3/9/14 - In Demand sports rebroadcasts are on channels 135-1
2/28/14 - PCN has been removed from analog channel 7.
shows it on analog channel 53. It has not appeared there yet on
my system. Me-TV is now available on analog channel 7 as well as
102-7. LV accuweather has moved from 73-4 to 68-11. Analog
channel 79, the Travel Channel is gone. Thanks RF.
1/1/14 - SoapNet, 76-8, has been discontinued by ABC and is
no longer available anywhere.
12/17/13 - I've recently discovered that SECTV is now listing
the QAM channel numbers on their
channel line page. This should be the same as my chart but
perhaps not a convienient since it's not sortable.
11/23/13 - Fox Sports 1 is also on SD channel 86-4. Thanks
9/29/13 - WPIX 11 HD is on 126-3 & Retro TV is on 126-4. I
don't know if this is a real change or just something I missed
before. The Style Network, 67-10, has changed to the Esquire
Network. Thanks RF.
9/14/13 - Added channel 102-1 which seems to be cable box
channel 900. You can see what channel changes have been made
recently and get instruction in using Pay per View.
Unfortunately the channel changes mention only the cable box
channels but at least you'll know something has changed. Thanks
9/6/13 - Seems I overlooked 10 HD channels in my last update.
I've added them back so if your favorite HD channel went missing
in the last update check the chart again. Thanks to SC for
catching this omission.
9/2/13 - Lots of changes. Some channels have been moved to
the High Def Tier and require a subscription to a paid group.
Some have been moved to the Ultimate Digital Tier and require a
About a month or so ago sectv reduced the price of the
Full Channel Line Up with Internet by $10. If you haven't
taken advantage of that call them. You can get any Internet
speed at a comparible lower price. They may have reasoned that
adding back the
Ultimate Digital cost will get you back to slightly more
than you were paying.
7/31/13 - The Science Channel and Destination America have
been moved to the Ultimate Digital Channels group which means
they are now scrambled.
SECTV QAM chart was revised on 7/23/13 but now does not list
many of the high def channels.
7/9/13 - ION HD is on 89-1, Univision HD is on 89-2, MSNBC HD
is on 89-3. Note that 89 was an analog channel that is now a
digital channel. This means you might not see the new channels
unless you allow your TV to rescan all the channels. You will
probably loose any favorites you have set.
HSN HD is on 49-1, PCN HD is on 49-2, Living Well Network HD
is on 49-3.
QAM chart was updated on 7/5/13. Thanks CK.
6/19/13 - Added MSNBC HD on 131-4. Nope, it's gone again.
Several of us are looking. Let me know if you spot it.
6/13/13 - Made a correction to chart; Wppx-61, ION isn't on
91-1. Thanks CK.
5/22/13 - A chart user e-mailed me that Disney Jr is now on
86-5. In the process of checking this out I discovered that
several SD channels on 59-n have moved to 86-n. These are EWTN,
86-1; Lifetime, 86-2; Inspiration Network, 86-3; Speed Network,
86-4; Disney Jr, 86-5; Fox News, 86-10. Additional channels are
Trinity Broadcasting Network, 86-6; Advertising, 86-7; Sectv
Time & Weather, 86-8. Thanks for the clue MS. Lifetime HD, 120-1
is gone. Let me know if you find it.
5/19/13 - Disney Jr, 59-5, is gone. As far as I know it's not
on any other channel. Let me know if you see it. Thanks NB.
5/15/13 - Lifetime gone from 120-1 HD & 59-2 SD. Still on 44.
Haven't located digital versions yet. Analog Weather Channel
moved from 15 to 59. Sectv Time & Weather now on 15. Fox News
gone from 59-10 SD. Thanks JK.
4/25/13 - Shop NBC is now available in HD on 091-1 and
Wppx-61, ION is available on analog channel 19. Thanks DK.
4/19/13 - Sectv has removed analog channels 86, 88 & 89;
Comedy Chan, Disney Jr, E! Entertainment. These are available
only in digital form now. The recently added channels H2,
Biography, and CBS College Sports are all scrambled.
3/30/13 - HBO seems to be gone to scramble land. Both 119-1
and 98-1 are scrambled on my set.
HBO no longer on 119-1 in HD but is on 98-1 in SD. Thanks LR
Chan 91 & 92 no longer Speed Network and Outdoor Chan. 91-1 is
now ION HD.
2/19/13 - Incorporated any differences with the recently discovered QAM
chart on the SECTV web site and those sent to me by several
users of this table.
