Two deer circled our camp for an hour or so, even going onto the narrow strip of beach between our camp and the lake. After a while one of them made a bee-line directly to a bag of peanut butter Oreo cookies we had lying beside a tree. We managed to scare him off and save the cookies.

Luke didn't catch any fish so he thought he would try "fishing" for chipmunks. It was pretty dark when I took this picture. On the right is a fishing pole with its line tied to the fig newton at the left. The chipmunk is just about to nibble. The goal was to try to get the chipmunk to hang on while he was slowly lifted off the ground.
