The trail is forested and fairly level at first. But see this photo from 2 years ago for conditions further along.

I did manage to get a couple of shots of Holland Lake while bouncing along on Burt the mule.

Our starting point was at the Holland Lake Lodge, on the point with the single pine tree.

This trip was "just down the street" for Justin, our guide. Most of the trips these wranglers guide go much further, into the Bob Marshall Wilderness to the east of Upper Holland Lake.
