[10767] He was a farmer at White Hall near Littlestown; he also had a noted huckster route, and conducted a general store in that place; was widely known for buying turkeys. Sheely family tradition states that when the homestead farm was settled at White Hall there were Indians for neighbors, and down through the years spots were pointed out where wigwams had stood.
