[9848] He was a wealth farmer near Mayberry Carroll Co and lived on the old homestead which had been his Uncle Samuel's. and previously owned by Peter Stonesifer one of the sons of our immigrant grandfather John Daniel Stonesifer. David was considered to be a fine man by all who knew him, was a Democrat in politics and was a member of St Mary's German Reformed Ch at Silver Run. He was killed in a gas accident at Hagerstown MD
