MT T 4/22/1881 "Frank C. West has purchased the interest of his former partner and continues the grocery business under the old name. He informs us that his trade has more than doubled since he has moved into his new quarters."
1920 June 6 Middletown Transcript: "After an illness of several weeks Frank C West a former resident of Middletown died at his home No 410 W 20th St., Wilmington, Tuesday afternoon last, in his 68th year. The news of Mr. West's death, was a great shock to his relatives and friends in this section, many of whom were not aware of this serious illness. Deceased was well-known throughout the Peninsula. Where he had represented the Sultun and Sibley Paint Co., for many years. He leaves to mourn his death a widow who was Miss Laura Pennington and two daughters Misses Carrie and Frances West who reside at home. Funeral services were held at his late residence Friday afternoon, at 1:30 o'clock and the remains were brought to Middletown and interment made in Forest cemetery."
