[1194] 1896/June 6: " Little Sam Pennington, of Smyrna, who with his mother is visiting his grandfather, Capt S. Peninngton, in town, was riding a gentle horse up and down the street on Tuesday, when the horse suddenly broke from a walk to a trot and threw the little fellow off, brusing and hurting him very much, but with no serious results." 1914/April 11 "Miss Jean Ross, of Boston, Mass and Mr. Samuel Pennington, of Philadelphia were married in Philadelphia on Monday evening.
