They lived in Hanover for many years at 319 Springs Ave., and later at 133 McAllister St. She was emploved as a weaver. He worked for many years for theHanover Wire Cloth, and then for some years as fireman at the State Theatre on Frederick St. He was also a member of Hanover Fire Co No 1
Also buried on the family plot at St John;s Catholic Ch cem in Westminster is a Bernard O Bankert b 6/6/1909 d 3/29/1932 he may be the child of either Helen or her sister Catherine.

[11555] He was a carpenter and later foreman for the OH Hostetter Construction Co of Hanover, and helped in the construction of many buildings in the Hanover area. He died by drowing in a water-filled ditch while searching for a lost pair of glasses. However, a suspicion of possible suicide was linked to the case.
