PRA Notes
82. Samuel Pennington was born on September 21, 1733 in St. Stephen's Parish, Cecil Co., MD. He died about 1786 in Cecil Co., MD. Samuel's estate inventory was recorded 04-13-1790 by John Ward and mentions his youngest children Elizabeth, William, Robert and Samuel. Will was dated 09-18-1786 and probated 10-02-1786 in Cecil Co., MD. (Will Bk. 5:114-115). Samuel was bequeathed land called "Two Branches" after decease of brother John. He was under 18 years of age at his father's death and directed to live with his brother John. This Samuel was executor of his brother John who d. in 1755.
He was married to Jane Price about 1753 in Cecil Co., MD. Jane Price died about 1786. Samuel Pennington and Jane Price had the following children:
+195 i. Elizabeth Pennington (born on September 6, 1754).
196 ii. William Pennington was born on October 20, 1760 in Cecilton, Cecil Co., MD.
+197 iii. Robert Pennington (born on October 9, 1768).
+117 iv. Samuel Pennington (born on November 11, 1770).
bequeathed land called "Two Branches" after decease of brother John. Under 18 years old and directed to live with his brother, John. this Samuel is exec of his brother John's estate.
EE 5 p115 Made his will in Cecil Co MD on 9 18 1786 and it was proved on 10/2/1786 mentions his Son in Law John Ward (exec), and nearest kin John and Edward Penington witness Nobel and Edward Price, Benj Porter
