After his marriage they settled in Hanover about 1749 on a large farm several miles southeast of Hanover at a place now called Lineboro MD.

came from Partenheim Germany to Phila on the Ship Loyal Judith on Sept 2 1743 and settled in what is now Lineboro, MD about 1749
