Julianna Arrants came to this country in 1723 as an indentured servant to Francis Maulden She brought a 5 year old son, Johannes b 1718
In Cecil Co Land Records Vol 4 p14 dated 6/13/1723, appears a settlement of the dase of Julian (na) Arnst, a servant indentured for 5 years, having been paid for by Francis Mauldin. Upon her arrival, having with her a son, Johannes, of age four or five years, to be provided for, it was agreed to change the term of service to 8 years, at the end of which the son would also be free.
