lived in the vicinity of Boonsboro, Md. They apparently had a daughter named Elizabeth who was born about 1829 was a domestic servant in Gilford Twp in Franklin Co PA just south of Chambersburtg PA for a blacksmitth Abrahan Hockman and wife Elizabeth according to the 1850 Census. Elizabeth may be the Elizabeth Stonesifer who married and Edward Perkins on Oct 27 1856 in Christ Ch Baltimore MD.
In Washington Co Deed Book NN on pages 33-34 it is recorded that on Mar 28 1832 "Catharine Stonesifer" freed her fifteen year old Negro girl slave named Polly Wicks. This apparently is Catharine who was married to Henry Stonesifer of Boonsboro. As her brother in law John Daniel Stonesfier had a slave, this young slave girl may well have been a child of that person.
