[12677] They also lived in Cumberland, MD and where he was listed as a property owner in 1813 and assessed $97. On Dec 10 1830 the Cumberland Fire Engine Co was organized and he was a founding member and also listed as one of the Propetry-men and Guards. This fire fighting unit was reorganized in 1839 as the Cumberland Hose Company. (presently the indication is that this girl, Christiana, was the youngest daughter of John Eberhardt. However, the 1790 Census does state the John Daniel, the son of John (Johannes Eberhardt, did probably have a daughter as the listing is for 2 white females no age given. Until written proof should come along the writer had given her the parentage as indicated.)
